Join Rising Tide Theatre’s talented cast of actors and musicians with Petrina Bromley as “Joan Morrissey”, on tour throughout the provincial Arts and Culture Centres this fall. The Rising Tide Theatre production of "So, Let's Bring on Our Favourite: The Joan Morrissey Story" is going Province wide starting October 10th, 2007 in Gander and finishing in St. John's on October 17th.

CBC Radio Noon - Canada Wide

On Sunday, January 9,2005 CBC Radio Noon will be doing a special feature on Joan Morrissey. It will focus on her life and all that she had to deal with as a woman, entertainer and mother. CBC Radio Noon Associate Producer, Heather Barrett has been working on this special feature for several months and interviewed longtime friends of Joan's such as Bernice Peddigrew and Sylvia Thomas Reiser. You will also hear interviews from Donna Butt of the Rising Tide Theatre in Trinity as well as an interview with author, Debbie Morrissey Stafford.

This show will be broadcast all across Canada and will air from 9a.m. to 12.00 noon. Please check your local CBC radio on January 9, 2005 and listen in for a show you don't want to miss.
